Will Grover

Will prides himself on his ability to bring ideas to life and create excitement in his audiences.  As a presentation skills training expert, he draws directly from his own 10 years+ experience to help others make huge progress toward their own goals as a presenter.

Background in business

Will has a strong corporate background in account management, sales, fundraising and brand management, so knows all too well the importance of clear communication, understanding your audience and competing pressures at work. He has led teams in all these settings, motivating people and guiding strategies to get outstanding results. He now also volunteers as a mentor to young entrepreneurs just starting out in business. He helps them build the right mindset and set of skills which turn ideas and energy into results and profit.

Will has been a multiple business owner for the last 10 years and understands the pressures and challenges of working for yourself. He knows that it often takes years of practice and preparation to become the overnight success that everyone sees.

Experienced in front of audiences

As a professional trainer, presenter and coach, Will delivers keynote speeches and training to and for leading businesses around the world on a regular basis.  He knows that preparation, connection with the audience and mastery over your own state are critical to delivering the best content with the most amazing outcomes.

Will has been lucky to work with a wide variety of clients from FTSE250 directors to team managers and sole entrepreneurs. He has coached and mentored hundreds of business leaders and owners to increase their confidence, influence and self-belief.

“The strength of your influence comes directly from your ability to connect with your audience.”

The perfect harmony

When not working hard on his or other people’s businesses, Will has also been the frontman for many rock bands (even narrowly missing out on a place in the pop band Blue over 20 years ago!) and more recently as one of the world’s best Michael Buble tribute acts.

“Building rapport is vital to delivering your message. When your audience is really with you, everyone benefits from that incredible feeling.”

Will believes that the best thing about presenting brilliantly is the harmony created when you bring together a combination of a specific set of skills and powerful mindset techniques that anyone can learn.

“The techniques I have learnt over the years have helped me to become a world-class presenter and speaker. I certainly wasn’t born that way. I have studied and copied what the best-of-the-best do and simply modelled their style and behaviour.”

Feedback from previous delegates

“Attending the full 12 session (virtual) training programme has been a “journey” of self-discovery! I had an outline of what I wanted to achieve by the end of the course but never thought I would learn so much along the way. One major factor that has given me so much more confidence now is the openness in talking to Will which I didn’t feel was possible with family, friends, or work colleagues. Whether you are nervous at presenting, dreading the day of standing in front of a Team of people, or giving that Best Man speech, these courses will help you overcome those fears and make you look forward to those events ahead. I am giving a Best Man’s speech next July and I cannot wait!!”

Thank you Will, and I very much look forward to staying connected.

“10/10.

I just want to thank both Will and Dee for supporting me on my journey to improve my confidence in public speaking. Greater insight into the different types of audiences and the SAS structure has opened my eyes to new opportunities and changed my mind-set

Bespoke 1 to 1 sessions meant that the focus was on the areas that I personally needed to develop. Honest feedback helped me to look at things in different ways and practicing delivery of presentations has really helped to identify what works for me.

The Taming the Monkey sessions were quite thought provoking however carefully managed by Will which is really important as whilst I did not have any real issues, these sessions could potentially be uncovering some deep emotions.

A weekly session was helpful as this allowed me to reflect, practice what I had learnt and prepare for the next session.

I also physically liked having the workbooks/reading material/videos available as they were easy to follow and I could work through to focus the mind and check my understanding.

I will now prepare for presentations/meetings/written communications using the SAS structure and have more confidence in applying for promotion. If I am asked to present I will not feel as daunted now that I have learnt grounding techniques.

I am really pleased that I decided to take the plunge and invest the time in my personal development as it has made me realise that there is so much more that I can do to promote myself, my teams and the organisation that I work for.

Thank you “

And finally …

When he is not learning NLP (he’s a Master Practitioner and Trainer) or travelling the world, Will enjoys family time in Kent with his 3 children and grandchildren, going to the theatre and keeping fit.
