I’m delighted to announce that last night Simply Amazing Training was announced as one of only 5 semi-finalists for the Dutton Gregory Small Business Award For a small business with a big attitude. The judge Sue Murphy praised all entries and commented on how competitive the Small Business Award had been. Despite having been finalist status or winner in 10 awards in less than 4 years this is especially important to me because it could be my first Dorset based accolade. 3 years ago I expanded my presentation skills training and communications skills mentoring business from Hertfordshire into Dorset. Last year I was semi-finalist in the “Entrepreneur of the Year” category but unfortunately didn’t make it into the final 3 so hopefully fingers crossed this will be the year! The next step is to meet the judges so wish me luck! The finalists will be announced at afternoon tea on the 21st July in Christchurch. The Venus awards have been referred to as the working women’s Oscars by a UK national television station and are hugely popular – the event at Breeze Motor Company last night was sold out.
