All special price Taster Sessions are held virtually via Zoom
Learning to present with confidence is one of the best things you can ever do for yourself, and your career. It’s not just about being able to give a boardroom presentation, or delivering an online pitch but about feeling confident to speak up in meetings and many other situations. You will learn how to really engage with your audience. Read on if you would like to become a clear, concise and confident speaker online and off (watch our video testimonials).
You can choose whether to do the course in person face to face or virtually. Both options will be individually taught, so it will just be you and your presentation skills coach.
Business presentations online and off e.g. boardroom presentations, pitching internal ideas, webinars, technical presentations, conference presentations, customer proposals and sales presentations, internal meetings, investment pitches, keynote speeches and more… (learn the principles of virtual presenting and for in-depth training on the subject, see our Virtual Presenting course).
You can choose to meet your coach in person or do the training virtually.
Face to face in person:
OR
Virtual training:
Optional extra: 1 x 60-minute live web call review (Part 6) ideal for face to face and virtual learners.
Watch the video testimonials at the bottom of this page to see and hear how other clients have benefited from this programme and improving their confidence.
Part 1 – Where are your most important areas for development?
You will complete a short quiz and answer self-reflective questions in the ‘Styles, Strengths and Weaknesses’ workbook (hard copy or e-version available). This allows you to pinpoint your development areas and the coach to review your needs and tailor the programme to identify any quick wins and the key areas to focus on that will make the biggest difference.
You will be asked to film yourself (optional) giving a short presentation so your coach can check they concur with your self-analysis, so nothing is missed and inform their next steps.
Part 2 – How does my state of mind impact my performance?
We help you to identify which mindsets are necessary to be a calm, confident and clear presenter and which have an adverse effect. You will learn techniques and exercises which are designed to change negative worries into more positive and useful thoughts. We help you to overcome common concerns like hating the feeling of “all eyes are on me” to thinking “they are all judging me”.
If you’re doing the virtual training, your (optional) home play will include creating a short video of your session realisations. This embeds what you have been taught, allows you to practice your new-found presentation skills and drives improvement as your coach provides constructive feedback.
Part 3 – Why is good body language important online and off?
Here we study body language and find out how to show presence, poise and passion. You will learn and practise standing and seated ‘Presenter Stance’, what to do with your hands, and when and where to look. If you’re doing the virtual training, you will use what you’ve learnt in a short video and your coach will provide constructive feedback.
Part 4 – How does breathing impact the voice?
Your coach will listen to your voice and watch your breathing to see if there is anything that could be improved. You will learn the importance of breathing and voice exercises and the role they play in making you not only clear but also calm and confident too. Then you can practise speaking with a new-found quality, confidence and clarity. If you’re doing the virtual training, you will use what you’ve learnt in a short video and your coach will provide constructive feedback.
Part 5 – How can I avoid death by PowerPoint or conference call fatigue?
Your coach will show you how to make your message clear and simple, so you can avoid having hundreds of text heavy slides and easily remember what to say. No more mind blank moments! This will make it easier for your audience to engage, understand and remember your message.
Whether you are doing the virtual or in person face to face training, you will be invited to show what you’ve learnt throughout the programme in a short finale review video. Your trainer will provide constructive feedback and highlight next steps.
Part 6 – Practise and next steps 60-minute live review
This section is an optional extra, but we highly recommend it. This is where it all comes together – time for you to practice and embed everything you’ve learnt. You will deliver your presentation in a live web call to your trainer. They will give you constructive feedback on the delivery of your presentation.
Knowing that you are able to practise all the techniques learnt will give you one final confidence boost. And you’ll leave with a detailed plan for your next steps so you can continue to improve even after the course has finished.

Alfie – Senior Bid Development Manager
“It pushed me out of my comfort zone, but not too far, I felt empowered to stand up and talk, not forced to. I believe in myself more and at least have body language to appear confident. Looking forward to what’s to come with rest of training” [Stages 2 & 3]
Abigail – Executive Assistant
“I know what to do with my body language, how to be clear with my voice and how to make my message simpler. I’ll use this when presenting to the management team and externally. Definitely recommend this to others”
