In this program we explore how to make individuals better at influencing and persuading. It is intended to help people who work in roles for positions where they need to influence stakeholders. You will learn how to improve capability by building genuine connections and by identifying how to overcome the barriers to effective communication. You will also develop competence and confidence by understanding your strengths and weaknesses.

This management training course in communication skills enables participants to learn advanced techniques so they communicate more clearly, concisely and convincingly, whether writing a report or email, running a meeting or giving a presentation.

What will we cover?

Our courses are tailored to your needs so the specific content will vary and that is why it is a good idea to give me a call to discuss your needs. That said, you are probably  looking at this because you want a brief idea of what this business communication training is all about so let me give you a taster:

How long is the course?

I use a blended learning approach so participants join a wider “programme” lasting longer than the live workshop days alone. The live element to the management communication training is designed to span 2 days. Training days ideally are between 2 and 4 weeks apart with preparation work and two Communication skills coaching calls (one in between and one following the live training).

I can still work with you if you only have one day available. You won’t reach the same high standard as if you take the two-day training; participants will have the tools they need to gain confidence in their business communication skills but they won’t have had so much practice and individual live feedback. Participants of the one day training are strongly advised to commit to further practice with a coach or professional  who can give live, positive and constructive feedback .

Bespoke business communication training courses are available; for example if you want to continually improve cross functional communications you may choose a monthly training  across 6 to 12 months. Or you may want shorter interactive and fun workshops which are ideal as an introduction or for larger meetings, team away-days and conferences.

How many people in a group?

Group sizes can vary from 4 to 40 depending on your objectives but around 8 to 12 is a common choice. Want to reach everyone in your company? I also offer interactive and fun keynote conference talks and workshops on people management skills.

How much is the training investment?

Prices vary depending on group size so it is best to get in touch. Prices are charged per programme not per participant and as a comparison guideline a training for 12 participants can range from £167 to £367 + VAT per person, per day.

What tools or models do we use?

These communication skills courses incorporate 20 plus years real life management experience with tools and ideas incorporated from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) ,  Insights Discovery and Motivational Maps. They are each simple and amazing tools and techniques designed to help people understand themselves and others and make a positive difference.
