Insights personality colour profiling

What personality type are you and your team?

Insights Discovery profiling uses a simple and easy to remember four colour energy model. By discovering whether we have a preference for blue, green, red or yellow energy helps us to understand why we behave the way we do and our strengths and weaknesses. This allows us to communicate more effectively and strengthen team relationships.

Do you recognise your preference?

What are your top one, two or three in any of these colour energy descriptions?

Those with an Earth Green preference are accommodating, reflective and reliable.
Those with a Fiery Red preference are assertive, determined and realistic.
Those with a Cool Blue preference are logical, concise and structured.
Those with a Sunshine Yellow preference are enthusiastic, impulsive and active.

If you need a boost in your energy …

You can give yourself a tailored energy boost depending on your preferred colour energy. Take these suggestions on board and see if they work for you:

Earth Green preference: Connect with a colleague and ask how their day has been; have a cup of tea and reflect on your thoughts; or become someone’s support or mentor.

Fiery Red preference: Take control of the situation and trust your gut instincts; establish goals and milestones to work towards, and speak out rather than holding it all in.

Cool Blue preference: Create new processes to make tasks more efficient; reflect with others to share and reflect best practice in the organisation, and take time to find out all the facts so you are prepared for any surprises.

Sunshine Yellow preference: Suggest a team lunch off-site; visit another department to see how you can get involved and help, and get creative and share solutions to the problems you see.

I hope you find these tips helpful, and feel energised and raring to go ahead of your next week at work!
