As a firm believer in giving back, I like to offer free presentation skills training for enthusiastic charities and non-profit organisations. In Hertfordshire, I have trained staff at Herts Air Ambulance and Peace Hospice Care, and this August bank holiday weekend I’ll be working with a mental health organisation there.
In terms of free presentation skills training in Dorset, I have worked with Autism Wessex and The Dorset Destroyers – Dorset’s first wheelchair rugby club.
In September, I’ll be training the Dorset Fundraiser’s Group. The title of my training is ‘How to avoid charity limiting presentations’ and I’ll be sharing the three main reasons why so many charities miss important fundraising and awareness-building opportunities in their presentations and talks. I’ll cover presentation nerves and fear; how to prepare; how to ensure your presentation is successful; how to give the audience what they really want; and, perhaps most importantly, how to get your audience to take action without being pushy.
If you’d like to attend this training, it’s taking place:
Please email Maria@lewis-manning.co.uk to reserve your space, or call 01202 708470.
If you are part of a charity and this date doesn’t work for you, or the content isn’t quite what you had in mind, please get in touch. If you are prepared to host something similar in the future, let’s talk.
Simply Amazing Training offers professional presentation skills and public speaking training courses for individuals and companies – for introverts, extraverts and ambiverts! Have a look around the website, or call me today on 0330 223 4392 for an informal chat to discuss your requirements. And check out my ‘Pass It On’ campaign; my delegates can give their copy of my book to someone else, and I’ll replace theirs free of charge.
